My hairloss story began in my 20s. I once decided to dye my naturally red hair blonde. Little did I realize at the time, but red is the hardest color to get out of hair. After 5 chemical processes, I ended up with chemical burns on my scalp and hair that was beyond repair.

As the years went on, I realized that I was also a victim of bad genetics. Both of my grandmothers suffered from hair loss. I'm a teacher and I remember when I first started, 8 years ago, I had a student whisper to the class, "She is bald!" It hurt, of course. I masked it for a few years, but it eventually got to the point there was no way to hide it anymore. So, I started wearing half-wigs. I did that for a few years.

Then I had an opportunity to review wigs. That opened up a whole new world to me. I had never worn a lace-front until then. And now, I'll never go back. I want to share my experience with others and help other women feel like themselves again. It is a tremendous gift and there are so many options available today!
